CorFire launches mobile commerce suite

CorFire, the mobile commerce business of SK C&C USA, has announced the release of three new products for the mobile payments market, CorTrust, CorPay and Cor360.

Designed to enable businesses to deploy a wide array of mobile commerce applications, the three solutions leverage NFC technology as well as bridge technology for non-NFC based transactions, according to CorFire.


The first product, CorTrust, is a Trusted Service Manager (TSM) platform that enables financial institutions to issue credit card and debit cards securely to the customer’s mobile device. CorTrust can also be used to issue open and closed loop gift cards, private label cards, and value-based rewards.

CorPay is a mobile wallet platform that allows consumers to use their mobile devices to tap and pay for goods and services at the point of sale. Like other mobile wallet platforms, CorPay uses a downloadable app to store different credit and debit cards.

Cor360 is a mobile marketing platform designed to help businesses extend their brand and content by offering customers to gifts, offers and loyalty rewards via Mobile App., Mobile Web, WAP, SMS/MMS and email.

According to CorFire, the Cor360 platform also integrates with CorPay and CorTrust as well as other third-party mobile applications and supports NFC technology as well as bar code technology. [end] 

Mobile and network security provider AuthenTec has released the AuthenTec AE2750, a fingerprint sensor designed for use in mobile commerce applications.

The AE2750 contains many features found in smart sensor designs, such as a 192 pixel by 8 pixel fingerprint sensor array. It also offers hybrid fingerprint matching on a sensor match and host match, AES, RSA and SHA encryption block and One Time Password generation. The device can mount on smart phones, tablest and touchscreen-enabled mobile devices.
