CPI Card Group has become an official reseller of DeviceFidelity’s In2Pay solution, enabling the company to offer DeviceFidelity’s mobile payment technology to financial institutions, mobile carriers, transit agencies, access providers and other closed loop payment organizations.
As per the terms of the partnership, DeviceFidelity will head the development of the product and associated software, while CPI will be responsible for the pre-personalization, personalization, packaging, fulfillment, promotion and distribution to the market.
CPI and DeviceFidelity have partnered together with several major financial institutions and currently have multiple mobile contactless payments programs in the works, according to CPI. Both DeviceFidelity and CPI have been involved in all microSD based pilots throughout North America, with CPI acting as the card maker and in some cases, the personalization bureau. ![[end]](/resources/bullet/nfcnews-4.gif)
