PREMO launches new HF NFC antenna

Tuesday, March 8, 2011

PREMO has announced the release of its new SDTR1103-HF series antenna for NFC applications.

According to PREMO, the ISO 14443 compliant antenna is especially suitable for applications that require high drop-test requirements, like mobile phones and key-fobs. The new SMD antenna receives signals at 2MHz and 13.56MHz Tx/Rx, and is offered with 290uH/2MHz, 400uH/2MHz and 20uH/13.56MHz inductance values.

The antenna also features a high surface resistance NiZn ferrite core material and low initial permeability, allowing it to withstand extreme temperatures.

Additionally, its Surface Mounting Device (SMD) configuration allows for easy integration into an automatic printed circuit board assembly process, says PREMO. [end]
