EnStream launches Zoompass mobile wallet for Android phones

Tuesday, February 16, 2010

Canadian mobile commerce company EnStream LP announced the launch of the Zoompass mobile application for Android powered phones.

Zoompass enables users to send money quickly and securely to friends and family via smart phone, and takes advantage of the newest technologies of Android powered phones, such as running simultaneous applications.

Zoompass users can also import existing contacts directly from their address book, load and transfer money directly from their bank account or credit card, and check account balances and view transaction history.

EnStream launched the Zoompass mobile application, Canada’s the first version of a mobile wallet, in 2009, but up until now it has only been available for Blackberry and iPhone smart phones.

Some examples of Zoompass applications include splitting a lunch bill, requesting sports team fees, or collecting money for a group gift or to pay a housekeeper, babysitter, etc.

The application is now available for free download on Android Market and at zoompass.mobi. [end]
