NETS launches mobile payment in Singapore

The Network for Electronic Transfers (NETS) has launched its mobile payment solution “iNETS” in Singapore, according to gsmdome.com.

iNETS is the third mobile payment service offered in Singapore, preceded by DBS’ AXS and Singpost’s SAMs, that enables users to make make cashless purchases via cell phones.


So far, iNets has the support of local power utilities companies, cinemas, banks, cable companies and the SingTel operator, giving it a solid foundation for successful deployment, according to gsmdome.com.
