Payter will end its mobile payment services in Rotterdam on Dec. 1. The aim of the project was to explore the concept of a mobile wallet including all related services in a live operational setting.

More than 1,400 users and 100 retailers had used the services in Rotterdam. The scale of the program, however, was too small to be able to continue or further expand the services in Rotterdam.
