Smart Card Laboratory joins GlobalPlatform

Smart Card Laboratory Inc., an international smart card provider based in Seoul, Republic of Korea, has become the latest organization to join the membership of GlobalPlatform, the international specification body for smart card infrastructure.

Offering a range of products and solutions related to smart cards, Smart Card Laboratory will be able to track the activities of all GlobalPlatform technical committees – card, device and systems.


Joining as an observer member, the company will also have the opportunity to contribute to GlobalPlatform’s various Mobile Task Force initiatives and participate in its advisory council, which provides members with direct access to the board of directors. [end] 

GlobalPlatform announced that it will hold a two-day card specification training session March 1-2 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas.

Directly preceding CARTES North America 2012 (March 5-7, Las Vegas), the training session will aim to educate CARTES delegates and other participants on the importance of GlobalPlatform Specifications, their capabilities and functionality.
